“chrbl”, pronounced Charbel is a Montreal-Beirut-based singer-songwriter whose vulnerable melodies on acoustic guitar intertwine with his passionate lyrics. Inspired by Ed Sheeran, Pitbull and his stutter, “chrbl” ’s songs served as therapy helping him overcome everyday struggles. His music resonates with raw emotions, hoping it’ll do the same to his audiences with an intimate fusion from both sides of the world.

The Angry Hips
The Angry Hips (named for a yoga teacher’s comment) is a duo consisting of Nicole Biamonte on piano and vocals and Jerry Cain on electric bass. Their day job is teaching music research classes at McGill. Their Porchfest set focuses on jazz standards.

Staber and Chasnoff Duo with Myriam Rousseau
Dick Staber (mandolin, vocals) and Judith Chasnoff (guitar, vocals) have been performing trad-style acoustic folk music as a duo and with bands for 30 years. Myriam Rousseau's vocal harmonies add depth, texture, and beauty. It just feels right!
